I just read somewhere that some guy who bought a gt-r took it into Nissan due to some noise in the rear and they told him that he has void his warranty because he drove too often with the VDC off (VDC=Vehicle Differential Control), so now he's gotta pay for a new transmission and anything else that breaks or needs maintenance.
This seems absolutely ridiculous, why would nissan give the feature if it just voids the warranty and how much is too much?
If this feature they provide will wreck your transmission eventually then that seems to be a large flaw.
Has anyone else heard of this?
I also heard that the transmission was made by the same people who made the Veyron transmission, so does the Veyron have the same problem? I also heard it could be a problem with the gearbox?
